Who are those who would need us?
We have 3 teams at Leapfrogs:
- Speech Therapy Team
- Special Education Team
- Occupational Therapy Team
The Speech Team takes care of children who have communication concerns.
The Special Education Team looks after learning and academic skills in our children.
The Occupational Therapy Team looks after the sensory and motor needs of children.
This means that children that come to us are:
- Aged 16-18 months onwards who have problems in 1,2 or all of the above areas
- Suspected or have the following diagnosis
- Autism
- Language delay / disorder
- Social issues
- Learning impairment and academic challenges
- Speech / Articulation issues Dyslexia
- Developmental Delays
- Sensory / Motor issues
- Cognitive and emotional issues
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder / Attention Deficit Disorder
- Executive functioning deficits
- Processing difficulties like Auditory Processing Disorder (APD)
- Overall difficulties coping with the demands of school, social interaction, learning, and day to day living
